This pan is lite-weight, and I was wondering if it would scorch, but it didnt. I followed the instructions, and used 3 Tablespoons of olive oil (the type use for frying) and 13 cup of Orville R. corn. All of the corn popped with just one or two kernals left. Also, there were no unpopped kernels throughout the popped corn. When I used my own pan, I always had a ton of unpopped kernals left at the bottom and there were some throughout the popped corn. I have only used this once so far, but am very pleased with the performance of this pan. Thanks, Wayfair, for another nice product! Update. I have used this pan several times now and Love it all the more! It pops all kernals perfectly and is so easy to use. A must have for any popcorn lover!

This was our first time making fresh popcorn and it turned out really good. It’s easy to use, although the whole process a bit chaotic the first time. It is on the lighter side and I believe made of tin so it gets very hot and can dent and scratch easily. But in the end, it gets the job done and you get tasty, completely popped kernels that are not burnt.

I got this bad boy, and on that first day I *had* to try it out! I love popcorn, especially home-made popcorn. Microwave popcorn is nice and convenient, but it's not nearly as healthy, tasty, and honestly fun as making it yourself. This popper does the trick very well. you put the ingredient in, and cook it as you would with any other pan you'd use for making popcorn. Two things help make it better though. 1. The turning handle. The crank on the end of the handle turns a couple of metal rods at the bottom of the pan. This helps to keep the popcorn from sticking and burning. I'm not certain it's really needed as long as you're carefully watching, but it is fun to use in any case. 2. The pan is very thin, which allows for quick and even heating. The popcorn pops faster, reducing the risk of burning your popcorn. I tried it, and the popcorn was fantastic! Very few kernels were left unpopped, and there was no greasy feel or taste to the popcorn. Add a little salt and butter, and voila! Perfect snack. The top is clipped on, and is easily removed for cleaning. However, I felt like the entire pan was... well, flimsy. I feel like I could break it if I turned the crank forcefully. I also felt like I could bend the pan if I wasn't careful. I didn't try, obviously, so I don't know if it was just a feeling or not. But, I decided I needed to be careful when handling this pan. Washing it afterwards was easy and straightforward - no need to take things apart except for removing the top, and everything was easily accessible while cleaning.

I think this popper will be kind of fun for camping (that is why I choose it). It does get very hot so I would not let children help with the popping. Popcorn popped up nicely but you do have to keep the handle moving
