Truly elegant! The picture on the website does not depict how beautiful this dish really is. When I unpacked it, I told myself this is not an everyday casserole dish. More like a dish you bring out on holidays or special occasions so you can get compliments. I do like the ease of cleaning it and the fact that you can cook in it and serve directly from it. The most important fact about this dish for me is that it is not too heavy, because as I am getting older, I have to worry about that. I still love to cook a lot of pasta dishes for family and friends, like lasagna so the weight of a dish really matters. Also, this looks like a dish that will get pass down from grandma, because like the product name states it is stoneware and it looks like a keepsake dish. It made me look at other heritage pieces on the site as I was not aware of the Heritage brand before.
