I am happy with my new magnetic knife block! I just got this new knife set and the pair of knives that are not a primary color. I had no room for the new set, so I ordered this block. I tried to use the double-sided tape, but it did not work. Just when I thought it was stuck to the wall, it fell down behind the oven. That was a nightmare, so be sure to stuff towels in the gap between oven and wall. The kitchen wall is not smooth but has a very fine raised surface. Clearly, the sticky stuff did not like a wall with texture. Anyway, I broke out the power drill and used the two anchors and screws that came with the block. It was fairly easy to mount on the heads of the screws. All the stainless steel knives hold up well, but the one stainless steel knife that is not smooth. There is no full contact between the blade and the block. I had to find the place where that sushi knife stuck best to the magnet. The bar does have black caps on each end, but I like that. I added a small pair of scissors on one end and now I will not lose them weekly! I think this block is a great deal for what you receive, and I recommend it. Just be prepared to use the hardware if the adhesive does not work.

The magnets are very weak. It could not hold my knives. The sticky on the back is also very weak and it would not stay up even with light knives attached.

This is a great space saver. I’m glad a friend told me about it.

Looks great, keeps my knives sharp and organized (and safely out of the melee of a drawer). Mounted easily to glazed tile with included adhesive strip.

Don't buy, these suck!
