I love my new German stainless steel knives! All my knives are dull and though I have tried to sharpen them, my results have not been great. These knives, however, are gloriously sharp! Last weekend, I needed to slice vegetables and finely chop cilantro. I am so used to working with a dull knife that I used too much effort to cur odd the top of a bell pepper. The knife moved like lightening, and I almost cut my thumb off! It was so sharp that the slice did not even hurt. So, please be careful using your knives. Do not do what I did! My photos are not too gory and they are my cautionary tale. I have used both knives for vegetables and tofu. Dinner prep goes much faster now that I no longer chop my fingers or thumb! I highly recommend these knives, and I wish I had smaller ones from the same line.

The high carbon steel knife set of two are made of great quality. The handle provides a natural ergonomic grip and overall great feel when cutting or slicing. I do recommend this set of knives if you need a great dependable all around knife set.

I’m very impressed with the quality of these knives, especially for the price. They are sharp, well-balanced, and feel sturdy and comfortable in my hand. Both the chef’s knife and Santoku knife have been excellent for everyday food preparation. The quality is better than I expected, and they have quickly become two of my favorite kitchen tools.

Nice knives but slim and very light-weight. Best for everyday slicing - celery, sandwiches, nothing too thicksolid. A softball-sized onion was too thick for these knives. They bent slightly when trying to slice it in half.

These knives are great. Very sharp, nice size and seem like their high quality. I gave my sister one and she also likes it. These knives would make a great gift for anyone, man, or for yourself. If your preference is serrated, these may not be right for you.
