This small but mighty sauce pan holds only two cups and that’s to the top. It was too small for the lowest setting on my electric stove burners. Although it was still possible to use on the stove, but would have handle the pot carefully because entire pan heats up. I found that this sauce pan was perfect for melting butter or for cheese sauce on the stove warmer. The sauce pan may work better on a gas stove because you can control the flame setting. It heats quickly!

This adorable mini-saucepan by Cooks Standard is as pretty as a picture. Both the pan and its lid are made from high-quality stainless steel. It is oven safe and dishwasher safe. Its smaller size makes it perfect for butter warming or perhaps fondue! It arrived quickly and was wrapped in with two protective fabric bags. I do think the price point is a little high for its small size, but this mini pan is of excellent quality.
