I found this double slow cooker to be just perfect for my needs. I use the slow cookers primarily to keep food warm at good serving temperature when hosting a larger gathering of 8-14 people -I can't seem to have everything hot and ready at the same time so the slower cookers save me a lot of worry - the potatoes are kept hot (I prepare these a couple hours in advance) and the bread dressing (or vegetables) too! I also like the size of each vessel-not too big and not too small for my primary use. I will eventually use it as a slow cooker for making smaller amounts of stew, chili and soups too........
