Wok en acier antiadhésif avec couvercle Cuisiland

I don't like the wooden lid. There's a strange smell attached to it. The wok itself is nice.

Edit: also later purchased for self. Appears to be all natural and biodegradable except paint on handle and stainless steel rivets from handle to pot. The handle is 1 piece of real solid wood and both lid and handle appear they may be hand made. The pot seems to have had nitrogen treatment which explains the black rather than magnetite. I do have to wonder though if that perhaps means it's NOT hand hammered and rather simply rolled with a hammer pattern then stamped and nitrogen treated since there seems to be no magnetite from forging even though the black nitrogen treatment made me guess there was. Doesn't really detract from the utility or beauty of the product even if it's not hand hammered. Made wonderful gifts for mother and father. Product appears to be nearly all natural biodegradable materials with relatively high longevity for use when cared for properly. Also mostly handmade. Got it on sale on Wayday at a bargain price. I hope my parents will get much use and enjoyment from it. My one concern is the rivets. I worry that riveted handle will leak or break sooner than a strongly forged or welded handle would. Hopefully if this happens they will be able to have it cheaply repaired by a welder with good food-safe pure wrought iron welds to plug the holes and adhere best to the pan. At the price I couldn't find anything so nice welded or forged or even riveted except clones of this. The hand hammered bowl of the wok looks amazingly nice and amazingly durable for beyond a lifetime.
