Great pan at a great price! I use it all the time!

I had been searching high a nd low for a reasonably priced stainless steel 5 quart saute pan. Some were far more than I wanted to pay while others had received poor reviews. I searched Wayfair on the off chance that I might see a suitable pan. Well, I saw the Cuisinart pan and read the reviews and knew I had to buy it. It is perfect and just what I had been looking for. The pan is heavy but I prefer a heavier pan knowing that it is well made and better suited to well-balanced heating. The pan heats up quickly and evenly. The bottom is flat, not one of those bottoms that seem flat but really slope. I love that the handle and the the knob on the front of the pan do not heat up, allowing me to pick up the pan with both hands and no potholder. The pan cooks superbly and with Bar Keeper's Friend, washes up amazingly well.

I am impressed with the heft of this pot. It worked very well. A marked improvement over regular Cuisinart pots.
