I love this simple yet sturdy blender. Does its job and it’s so easy to clean. It does not take so much space which I love that part the most.

This device has unreliable cover closing attachment. It gets stuck and does not open in a normal way. I have twice, TWICE, had all content pour out when trying to detach the mug-part from the machine after making the shake and the cover opens! You really REALLY have to close it so tight it takes muscle (that I have, luckily) to open it after releasing from machine. Very disappointed of this Cuisinart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a new blender for smoothies, particularly one that blends well and cleans up easily. I have been using the blender for a few weeks, and I find that it is not quite as adept at blending berries with seeds as I would have hoped. I also find that I have to stop the blender and shake the contents more than once to successfully blend my smoothies. It's not a bad option, but I don't love it as much as I had hoped I would.
