The flatware set arrived relatively quickly and were package well with each individual piece being in a plastic sleeve. The flatware themselves are very cheaply made and several pieces exhibit a "rattling" sound when picked up. Do not buy this item.

I love the warm, natural look of this bamboo-handled silverware. The bamboo has beautiful color and variation, giving each piece its own character, while the polished stainless steel adds a clean, elegant contrast. The five-piece place setting looks complete and coordinates beautifully with neutral linens and simple white dishes. This set brings a relaxed, organic touch to the table while still feeling polished enough for entertaining. The product description says you can put them in the dishwasher, but since I will not be using them everyday, I will more than likely only wash by hand, as the dishwasher over time my dull them or make the wood dry. This flatware is exactly the look I was hoping for and will be a great addition to summer fun.
