A great pan at a great price!

Very happy with my purchase. This is a fantastic roasting pan. It can fit an entire spatchcocked chicken with potatoes and veg. It's really great for potato dishes, which I think it was design for. It's also very versatile, I've even used it to make eggs and bacon on the range. It heats really evenly even when on a circular gas burner.

Perfect size and versatility. I’ve used my pan on my induction cooktop, outdoor gas burner and in my convection oven with very good results. I took off one star because the pan is not perfectly flat; it has a very, very slight rise in the center.

I recently purchased the Oven Roasting Pan because I wanted a versatile pan to cook fish (and other food) on the grill that would compliment my other De Buyer carbon steel pans. After receiving this pan, I followed the seasoning instructions and "presto" nearly nonstick on the very first use---with salmon skin side down!! This pan heats incredibly quick, sears beautifully, and is just a very versatile pan. I highly, highly recommend this Oval Roasting Pan even if you think you don't need another De Buyer carbon steel pan! 5 Stars
