The marble of the butter crock is gorgeous. I don’t have any blue but bought because it was so pretty. I do not know anything about here butter bells but the design seems better than a traditional butter dish.

The water touches the butter, preventing exposure to air, keeping it fresh. Water should be changed every day/every other day, depending on your climate.

I am so pleased with the butter crock! The base has a non-skid surface that will prevent the crock from moving from where you placed it. The blue color is striking and compliments most other items in my kitchen.
