These are absolutely the best dishes I have bought. The best part is they don't scratch. I bought one pack and ordered another one that's how much I loved them.

These plates are gorgeous, first of all. I like their title of "moon-white" -- that is accurate. And what was not so obvious was the terra-cotta color on the bottom of the plate, which also shows on the bottom of the sides. Very nice in appearance. They're round and they have a bit of a lip on them, so your foods that might roll, are not going to roll off the plate. I have one problem -I ordered these plates to supplement my current stoneware for everyday use. Some in my family don't like the heavy stoneware - they wanted something lightweight. So I looked for lightweight plates to add to our cupboard and dinner settings for everyday. These plates appealed to me in appearance, and when say they weighed 2 ounces each in their description, I was very happy and ordered them. However, they do not weight 2 ounces. In fact, they weigh MORE than my current stoneware. 1 pound 10 ounces!. So we won't be using them. They are wonderful plates, absolutely beautiful and well-made. The description is just messed up!

Absolutely gorgeous plates and came beautifully packaged. These are large, sit a little deeper, and the bottom of the plate has great texture. I got these to bring to our new home and I'm super excited to put them in my new kitchen.
