I bought a house with a bar area that had potential, but zero real storage or display space. So I decided to close it in, turn part of it into a pantry, and create a nice cabinet wall for display.
I briefly considered building something myself, but after measuring the space and coming across these cabinets on Wayfair, I realized they would cover most of the wall perfectly — and save me a whole lot of time and guesswork.
When the cabinets arrived, unboxing was straightforward and everything was well-packed. The instructions were clear and easy to follow (which is saying something these days). Since the set comes as three separate units, I was able to play around with the layout a bit and make it work for my space.
Assembly was easier than expected, and one of my favorite parts is how customizable they are. I actually chose not to use all of the doors so I could mix in some open display space — and I love how that turned out.
To give everything a more built-in look, I added a bulkhead above the cabinets. Not only does it make the whole wall look custom, but it also gave me extra hidden storage space above my pantry — huge bonus!
I still have a little finishing work to do on one side, but even as-is, I couldn’t be happier. The quality is solid, and honestly, by the time I priced out materials to DIY something similar, I would’ve spent just as much (if not more), plus a lot more time and effort.
All in all, I’m so glad I went this route. These cabinets gave me the look I wanted without the headache.
