Garde-manger arqué 86,6 po H avec 2 tiroirs

Overall this is a nice storage piece and I was surprised by the weight and quality of the wood pieces. The assembly guides states it should take 2 adults, 3 hours to assemble and we were able to do it slightly faster but it was a tedious build. The two cabinet doors are so bowed that the magnetic mechanism doesn’t work to close them. We didn’t realize this until it was almost fully assembled because this is one of the last steps. I ordered a replacement part but have yet to receive a shipping notice. The piece would be much improved without the small decorative trim pieces on the front. Their size and the overall antiquated/overly ornate motifs make it feel like something in your 1990’s living room. Additionally, the back wood piece has a divide down the center making the piece feel cheap. I hope to receive replacement doors. If not, I intend to replace the doors, scrape off the motifs, replace the back panel and replace the hardware before painting this piece and using it in my home. If I receive doors that aren’t bowed and can use the piece as its intended for storage, I would recommend this piece with the caveat that it could use some work if it is to be displayed in a high traffic area. As a stand alone piece of furniture I would not necessarily recommend this piece for the price and absolutely wouldn’t recommend it was it shipped to me with damaged doors. I will update my review if and when I receive working doors.
