This set is very stylish with beautiful handles and sharp edges. The base keeps everything in one place beautifully. It also comes with the knife sharpening tool. The big flat knife is not heavy unlike other knives in market and is sharp enough to make thin slices of soft tomatoes or even hard veggies like sweet potatoes. It has multiple steak knives great for hosting a party. I really wish it had small serrated knife which I feel is lacking. But overall I really like this set.

They are easy to clean and the color beige and silver is totally modern and different. The handles comfortably fit the shape of my hands for every day use. The knifes are well balanced and won’t cause hand fatigue. The weight distribution is even between the handles and the blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked by influencer to try the Sur La table Kitchen Essentials, German steel 14 pc cutlery set in return for my honest and unbiased opinion. The very first thing I noticed besides just how absolutely gorgeous each knife is and the block that they are kept in, is the weight balance of these knives. They are superb! They go beyond any professional knives that you can buy. And if there's one thing that's more important than having a very sharp knife, is having a balanced knife. Now for the sharpness, oh boy are they! I cut the tip of my finger by just barely wiping off the front of the satonku blade. There is no way that you can get a better set of knives at a reasonable price that are comparable and compatible to professional knives. Each night fits into the block holder perfectly. There's no guessing about which knife goes where. And as far as cleanup goes, regular cleanup but when it comes to cleaning up your cutting board after cutting a tomato, there is no clean up! No seeds, no squishy mess. Just perfect slices of tomato! An absolutely beautiful cutlery set.
