Just purchased in early December. These bowls started out as a very nice gift to my wife for the holidays. However, as reflected in the photos, they were used only twice and washed by hand, and the gold outside has always peeled away. Also, the bottom has eroded. We still have two left but we are obviously returning all of them. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get a refund. This is a do not buy item for use other than decorating a shelf. Again, these were never put in the dishwasher.
