Absolutely love, love, love the new dishes. They are even more beautiful in person. I was surprised how heavy they are. Which is great!

I bought these to replace my old every day dishes that were over 20 years old, missing pieces and were scratched up. I really liked the modern design of these. In general I like these and from a distance they look good so for me they are fine. However, on closer inspection you will find a lot of inconsistencies - see pictures. To start they are heavy dishes. They are fine in the dishwasher and microwave. The width of the colors varies from plate (see picture of bowls) to plate and they aren't always straight (see gray on plate picture). The lines are not straight. The brownish lines appear to be added later as they are raised. Also in places whoever applied the lines appears to have stopped part way and restarted as there are some gaps and some overlaps. The soup/cereal bowls are large and the cups hold 12 ounces which is good. For me these work for daily use, friends over for barbecue or burgers - casual dining. I wouldn't buy them for dinner party tableware.
