I can't tell you how disappointing it is to order a second George Forman grill and when opening the package it gives a very, very strong (and scary) ammonia like smell. I've researched and read that airing, and washing should remove the smell. Maybe so, but the trust factor is already gone. I'm sending it back and won't buy a George Forman grill again.

Works well for those indoor BBQ days

Not easy to use. Sent back and replaced with Cuisinart Grill

Don't buy unless you are ok with your food sliding down to bottom of grill. They were cooking at only one end until I turned them around.
