This was how this knife came today. The order was delayed because of weather which is no big deal but after opening the boxes this knifes plastic wrap had water in it and was literally eaten away on the end. Two other pieces, a fork and another knife werent manufactured properly. They have severely bent tines pitting and not ground smooth. I would personally only use 5 out of the 8 forks because of sharp edges and really bad ends of the times. I got these specifically because of their size and weight. Im a Disabled Veteran and cant grasp stuff firmly in either hand. I wouldnt use these for fear that if my hand shook I could lose an eye or get cut. My biggest issue is that I will be told to return them and that for me is virtually impossible. I dont have the ability to travel and find a FedEx store because I live in a really rural area and only have transportation a couple of times a month and thats for doctors appointments. The VA isnt going to be happy if a rider say take me to the nearest FedEx, it doesnt work that way. Ive ignored the scratches, nicks and dings on furniture Ive gotten from you guys but this is totally unacceptable. I wouldnt waste your money on anything made by Gibson Home.
