Item is a DIY. You need to put it together. I've performed this very successfully in the past. So, if you've done this before, it should be fairly easy. Parts were all well labeled. Everything was going fine until while placing a screw into its hole, the wood on the panel split along the screw entry way. The panel is necessary to the pantry's structure. The instruction pamphlet indicated on the bottom of each page that if one has any issue in assembling the pantry to contact customer service. There was no phone number or url listed. Trying to reach a real person on the Wayfair website on an evening or weekend was just about impossible. I ended up using its AI helper explaining what happened and sending photos to its site plus reiterating multiple times to apparently other helpers what I considered a simple problem with a simple answer -- a replacement part for the one that was damaged. What ensued was several days of wrangling first with AI then with a person about how to solve the issue. It appeared for all its verbiage Wayfair really doesn't care about customer service. I was told to disassemble the pantry, pack it into its original box, print off a label to be sent me and to take the box to a FedEx drop-off point for its return to Wayfair. When I originally opened the box I had examined the items to ensure I had all the parts and that all appeared to be in good condition with no visible damage. I then took the box to our local recycle center. I take my time and am super careful when assembling furniture, especially when the end product is heavy. When I explained that a good portion of the furniture was already assembled; that I had already recycled the packaging; and that the nearest FedEx drop-off was about an hour away (I live in rural Maine), I was told that the manufacturer said to keep the product and it would take 20% off. I said all I really wanted was a replacement part. Since I had already spent half a day putting the pantry together, I asked if it could do a little better. When the Wayfair human rep got involved, I had to go over the whole problem several times as it appeared that she had not read the string of dialogue with the AI and supposedly the manufacturer. Finally, I was informed that the only thing that Wayfair would do would be to send me the part that had split. The item was supposed to have been delivered yesterday (Friday). After waiting all day, I received an email indicating it would be delivered Monday. Today (Saturday) FedEx sent me another email saying it was being delivered today (Saturday) before 3 p.m. since it's after 4 p.m. with no delivery, I'm not holding my breath. What should have been an easy fix has become a soap opera or better yet a comedy screenplay. When it's finally assembled, I think the pantry will be fine but just wanted folks to know the circus that could ensue if there's an issue in putting it together. The two stars are due to the time wasted.

I ordered two of these to add closet space to a bathroom in my home. Not going to lie, I'm a little nervous about how this is going to hold up in a sometimes damp area. My concern is the pressboard. It's a quality issue. I think this is going to look nice and be fine for a temporary fix, but in the long run I'll have to replace it with something of better quality.

Assembly is horrible. Nightmare of a jigsaw puzzle

I absolutely love this pantry cabinet. It is very sturdy and holds a lot of stuff. Highly recommend!
