Very happy with my purchase. Works great and is very smooth. I love Hamilton beach products and will always purchase them!

Love that there is no sharp edges

Best can opener on the planet, but sadly with so many big name stores now closed in Canada, I could not find one for sale at an actual physical retail store. I rarely buy online due to porch pirates. I received item no problem however I have BIG concerns about the packaging (or lack of it). The box was completely open, other than the fairly weak tab keeping the top somewhat closed (nothing inside was missing). At a bare minimum some plain brown wrapping paper should be used to cover items and easier to read (see) shipping labels.

This is actually my third one, (50+Years of cooking). Too old to use those stupid crank ones, little ones that ride on top of can are a joke! Really, Really tired of cutting myself on sharp edges. I LOVE my smooth edge can opener and will never buy anything else!!

Growing up with old manual crank openers, dealing with hand strain and razor-sharp jagged lids was always a pain. This Smooth Touch opener is an absolute lifesaver. Cutting along the side instead of the inside rim leaves the lid and edge completely smooth and safe to handle, no accidental cuts or wrestling with sharp metal. It takes zero hand strength, looks sleek on the counter, and the built-in scissors are a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend!
