Simple controls grouped into pulse-style and constant settings with descriptions rather than speed numbers. The large glass jar is easy to clean when you unscrew the blending blade and collar from the base. Its lid is a flexible plastic with a pouring spout and a larger feed chute. It has a full perimeter silicone seal. There is even a pusher tamper to help ensure all ingredients can reach the blade and be fully blended. So far I’ve made two peanut butter protein shakes and a frozen coffee drink in the personal cup. The opening for the cup is standard size rather than wide mouth, so it can be a bit messy to load. And since it is smaller, the order in which you add ingredients is important. For certain you will want to shake by hand vigorously before mounting the cup to the blender motor. The pitcher does a great job mixing my aunt’s favorite peanut butter protein shake. It has no trouble at all blitzing through ice cream, protein powder, a big tablespoon of peanut butter, and milk to make a silky and creamy shake. Being able to remove the blade housing makes cleaning the large blender jar a safer and easier task. Additionally, the power cord can tuck pretty deeply into the motor base.

The quality of this product is overall great, it's made with glass that's easy to clean. The base has different buttons for a variety of uses, and the lid contains a rubber seal that fits snug enough to prevent leakage. It's great for making milkshakes, and definitely a huge help with dicing vegetables. This product comes with a drinking bottle for taking your favorite smoothies on the go, that's a bonus.

You can either blend a small batch of whatever drink/smoothie you like in the small personal blender cup, or do a big batch in the big blender container. How well a blender crushes ice is an important feature to me as I am a big fan of smoothies—the Personal Jar makes it simple to blend-and-go! Most appliances don't have this considerate option. This blender has a glass Blender Jar that is thick and strong. The jar has an EasyClean option and the entire appliance is very easy to wipe clean. I also love that the blender fits under my counter! It's a real space saver. This blender has a permanent spot on my counter—a testament to its value in my smaller kitchen!
