Overall, this is a decent cheese serving set. The pros a really trendy look and the handles are quite heavy… there is substantial weight to them which is nice when cutting and serving, especially hard cheeses. They have an industrial chic vibe and are definitely very aesthetic on a charcuterie or cheese board. The cons the packaging it came in was poor so I would not say this item is gift-able. Maybe it was just a fluke but all the pieces in the set were out of the placeholders in the packaging, and the container was very scuffed up. When I opened the package there were these odd black stains on the cutting side of two of the utensils. They easily came off, almost like black paint But still… not really what you hope to see on a new item. And finally… when you hold them, it leaves your hands smelling strongly of metal! Like you’ve been holding coins. It’s quite off-putting. IMO, I wouldn’t say this set is bad. But I think it’s average and for the price, there are plenty of options out there with more pros than cons. *Also, in case anyone is wondering, these are made in India.
