Couteau Nakiri Wasabi

I eat mostly vegetables so having a good knife for this purpose is a must. I'm so pleased with the heft & feel of this knife. I've looked up Nakiri knives as a brand and they seem to be a solid, middle of the field, reliable line. Having the cutting edge on one side only lets me get my fingers right up against the veg/knife edge for the cut I want. It is a lovely knife and appears to be well made. It cuts easily. As with any good knife, these should be hand washed and carefully dried before storing in a block that protects its fine edge. If you must have something to toss in the dishwasher, buy a cheaper, toss away knife rather than a fine cutting instrument like this.
