Purchased for myself during the Mother’s Day sale & I am SO glad I did! New features I love are: the bowl light-just a game changer! The half speed-the flour sifting attachment never looked so seductive & there is zero mess, even without the spatter cover. Speaking of which-I love how it now grips the bowl! It used to slide to the sides constantly & now you can hold the bowl upside down & it won’t come off. And the bowl! The handle is much more comfortable & sturdy, the brushed finish looks impressive & cleaner-the shiny silver showed every water mark & finger print. I was worried the stand mixer would be hard to clean in the Cast Iron finish but it’s just the opposite! My old Matte Black Artisan showed finger prints & oil much more easily! It doesn’t seem lighter than my regular Artisan was, & it’s still pretty loud all the way up, due to the more powerful motor. Also the cord isn’t very long but now comes with a cord keeper band-a nice touch. The new attachments are heavier duty, easier to clean & work well. The bowl cover (sold separately) fits this bowl also. I can’t wait to try the new 3-in-1 pasta attachment! 10/10! Well done, KitchenAid! Go ahead & get it-you deserve it!

Not quite as "solid" as I wanted but mixes well if batter is not thick. Have always had a Kitchenaid....Love the light on it.....and the color

Very pleased with my mixer. Stopped using my bowl-lift KitchenAid mixer with 575 watts. I didn’t need such a big bowl (6 Qt.) anymore. Been studying mixers for nearly a year. The motor is much quieter, the light is a bonus, and the attachments are solidly built. The attachment I like the most is the flex-edge beater. Really mixes well leaving only a minimal amount of batter unmixed. The first setting is a fold mix. And it does a good job folding too. I got the feather pink and I love the color. Most of my kitchen is light or dark blue so it stands out well. When mixing cookie dough, the flex-edge beater kind of jumps a little. Probably shouldn’t use the flex-edge for cookie dough. Kept my big mixer in case I need it for bread dough mixing though they say you can use this mixer for bread, but only on number 2 mixing.

this is the first stand Mixmaster I've purchased it almost 30 years. the other one is still going strong but I moved it to a vacation house. the color choice is now are amazing. I love my juniper having a light shine in the bowl is a game changer. absolutely love it. having the half speeds probably is great but I have not had the need for them yet. the double flex edge scraper is an amazing attachment I love it. there's one drawback that gives me pause. the first time I used it to bake cookies. after mixing in the chunky stuff like nuts and chocolate chips. I sort of had an electrical burning smell. the motor was quite warm. some might call it hot to the touch. not sure if I have a faulty unit. I let it cool down. I'm not tried it since. but if it gets that hot again I'll be contacting support to see if something's wrong. hot to the touch seems a bit unusual to me.

I love the upgrades on my stand mixer! The light is helpful as well as the 1/2 speed option.
