Mélangeur KitchenAid® Pure Power

I make a nutrient-dense smoothie every morning, for breakfast. Wanted to add even more ingredients, so needed a better blender. I'm very satisfied with KitchenAid's Pure Power blender. It easily handles anything that I put into it.. And it's easy to clean up.

I bought this blender last November due to its value and rating. It has been less than a year. It now has a blinking light and will not work. I do nothing heavy duty with this blender. It is compared to quality of a vita mix and is not.

Great blender. Great brand. Works quickly and quietly.

I purchased the blender just over 5 months ago and used it daily to make a smoothie. It was a really good blender while it was in a working state. It just failed catastrophically while attempting to make a smoothie with frozen mango. The bit which locks on to the blades is just rubber and plastic. It completely stripped out and did some damage to the mating piece at the bottom of the pitcher (metal shavings galore). I looked for a replacement part on the kitchenaid website but a search returned no records for the model number KSB2072BM. This tells me parts are likely not available and this is like all other cheaply made disposable consumer goods. I'm thinking this was not a good purchase. I guess I now find out if it is worth my time to submit a warranty claim. Note to manufacturers: Cheaply made products that fail under normal use is a thing that needs to end. Smarten the heck up and run your business with a tiny shred of integrity!

Really a nice unit it seems to do it all. I always wanted one so glad I got this one.
