Keeps hot liquid hot longer, due to the inverted taper of the sides & the thick pottery sides. Not too heavy while drinking, though. And the unglazed stripe is positioned such that while drinking it the unglazed stripe is not overly evident to the touch. The green works easily with other shades.

I absolutely love this mug! It might be a little pricey per piece, but it’s worth every penny. If you enjoy sipping your coffee from a cozy, stylish mug, this is your sign to get it. The design feels perfectly homey yet effortlessly cool. I highly recommend it!
