OK, so if you are trying to make hasselback potatoes this literally makes everything so much easier. I will never go back to the old way. The blades are extremely sharp and slice through the potatoes like butter. Greta buy and great quality

The Hasselback cutter was a very nice slicer. At first I had trouble using it as it was hard for me to press the button down but I blame that on my age; I am elderly, and have arthritis in my hands. For the average person, it will make a great slicer for potatoes and vegtables. The blade is extremely sharp so you do need to be careful of that. I just reached down to pick it up wrong and sliced my finger.It is worth spending the money for and adding to your kitchen.

This is smaller than expected. I thought I would be able to slice an entire potato at once, but it only does about a quarter of a potato at a time. It’s plastic so may not hold up to continued use. I want to like it but it might just be easier to use a knife.

This is such a cute kitchen gadget. It's just the right size that it's not awkward in your hand. It has inspired me to try some new recipes. The color is neutral with a nice pop of a dusty rose. Easy to clean.

I got this because I had seen potatoes madeon a cooking show on the Food Channel and it looked really good. But I have had dental surgery and cant eat anything like that yet. As soon as I can I will write a new review and tell how it turns out. Till then I am practicing using it lol.
