I have had 2 of these plates crack in the microwave. I've been microwaving to heat up leftovers for decades and know how to do it properly. When the first one cracked I called Customer Service and the woman told me she would send out another to replace it, but if it happened again, there would not be another replacement. She suggested I wasn't distributing the food on the plate correctly before placing it in the microwave. I had a second one crack in the microwave and
did not call for a replacement. There have been NO problems with cracking in the microwave of the dinner plates and bowls, just these accent plates. I will not buy any more pieces and will replace these with another maker in order to be able to microwave.
