Matches the set and a good price. My son left one on the burner and a layer turned into melted metal, so I think it is stainless sandwiched with a layer of something with a lower melt temperature.

I needed a larger saucepan that was compatible with my induction cooktop. This one is! I also wanted a durable non-stick pot for cooking certain things like mashed potatoes that I could mix in the pan. This is!! I am very satisfied with this purchase...& It was even ON SALE!!! Yay. Do recommend.
