Great weight but too short. It's heavy enough to be stable when ripping off a sheet. However, while the photos show the pole extending past the top of the paper towel roll, in reality the pole is about an inch shorter than a typical roll. I don't like this because instead of grabbing the pole with one hand to move it, I need to put down whatever I'm doing and use two hands.

Was so disappointed with this paper towel holder. It is so short and you have yo grab the paper towel to break it , not sure what size paper towels it’s supposed to hold. Came in 2 pieces and the base. Will not recommend, poorly designed.
