It’s heavy, and the color is exactly as shown.

I love my braiser! I actually have 2 of them!! I ordered 2 - one for me and one for my DIL. When I opened the box I fell in love - first with the color and then the pan! The first time I used it the dish got a little sloppy on the sides but the braiser cleaned like you wouldn't believe - inside and the cheesy crusty outsides! I use it every chance I get. I love the way it cooks the dish and how it keeps it warm because of the cast iron. I get so many compliments on the pan it's unreal! I was so happy I took the plunge and bought this. Now I feel I should be honest and say this is a heavy pan - it is cast iron which I love. The enamel is done so perfectly you wouldn't think it was cast iron. WHICH is how I ended up with 2!!!!! DIL decided it was a little heavy for someone with hand and wrist issues. Oh well! Now I have 2 and I have used them both at the same time!
