This casserole os such a great deal. My hubby uses it to bake his homemade Soughdough bread! It is a perfect size and depth.

Well this just arrived yesterday, along with the skillet, and I already put it to use preparing the stock I used for the risotto I had cooking in the skillet. These are just gorgeous to look at and have great heft to them! It cooked quickly and evenly (though it was just stock on this day 1 of ownership) and I am SO excited. This is my first set of proper high quality cookware and I cant tell you how excited I am to see what they can do. They come with very detailed care instructions which I appreciate as someone who has never owned cast iron cookware- very helpful!

❤ Love the color! It is a heavy, well made pot for chili, soups, and casseroles. I switched to this pot because I noticed my Teflon pots were peeling on the inside. I was concerned about what my family was ingesting from the Teflon pots. Im so glad I made the switch!!

Cast Iron Round Casserole (in RED) arrived in a reasonable time period. Pleasantly surprised & impressed with attention to detail in packaging. Have yet to use, but the cookware appears ideal for my purposes; the RED is stunningly beautiful. Looks tasteful sitting on stovetop. Appreciated the detailed information provided in the packaging regarding Use & Care, as well as on the Maintenance & Cleaning of my new Mega Chef 5-Qt. Cast Iron Casserole. Excellent instructions (if I follow) on how to maximize the use and long-term life of the product. Anxious to "test it out"!

We didn't use it just yet. But it has great claims. N I love that it has a good quality lid.
