The glasses were a bit smaller than I expected. There was a choice of gold or silver. I chose the silver and there is not any silver on the glass. The glass is etched, but it is not silver.

We bought these glasses stemless because we previously purchased the wine glasses of the same design, which we love. The wine glasses, however, don't fit in the dishwasher and these glasses will safely fit in the dishwasher. The manufacturer, however, recommends against putting in the dishwasher. Note that these glasses are etched. They do not have silver or anything else in the etching. This is actually a positive feature if you want to put them on the dishwasher.
