This was a good price. Barrel has a very light finish so as to allow some breathing but keep from staining. Very nice barrel, I cleaned mine out and filled it with water. It didn’t leak at all. Seems to have a nice char. Today I filled it with 20 liters of red wine to age. I hope it adds that flavor my home made wine has been missing.
