Fits more wide blades than typical. Cons: The opening for the honing steel is a bit small, and if your steel has a guard to protect your fingers, it may cover from 1-3 knife slots partially. Longer base than many knife blocks.

The knife block fits all of my knives and blends in perfectly on the kitchen countertop. The only flaw is a small nick in the block near the logo that occurred in transit.

A quality product, well designed and finished that has space for all of the knives. Bamboo to safeguard sharp edges. Recommended.
