On the plus side, it does work! But unfortunately, the surface started to peel off in the 1st week of use. I didn't do anything to it. Just put a mug on it. Will replace with a different brand.

I was very disappointed in this product. It keeps my coffee cup warm, which is great, but from first usage the paint started coming off the warmer section. So it doesn’t look good.

My home office is complete now!!!!

The heating element portion is not big enough for most of my coffee mugs.

I read reviews beforehand. Like others, I bought one of these earlier a few years back. I liked it and keep it at work, but I wanted a couple for home, one for candles, one for drinks. Like all the other reviews said, these used to be made with better quality but now not so much. One of them started peeling off immediately after beginning of first use. It's not peeled any further. The other one has not peeled. This does not come with an auto-shut off as described. The ON light is dim when it's in a bright ambiance. It is a stiff button but I just use two hands, so this won't accidently get turned on. This unit stays securely in place, and it is very hot to the touch, don't test if it's working with your hands. I find my drink stays the perfect temperature of warm without burning my mouth.
