I am in charge to make cakes for an upcoming shower. I thought this looked cute, and fit the theme. This cake pan is amazing. It's non-stick, yet they suggested using butter/shortening/then flour overtop to keep it non-stick. You can use a spray but it has to be one with flour in it. I used plant butter. Getting into the grooves wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The little bees took a bit of effort. The cake baked up beautifully. Nice color, texture and didn't stick yay. My most surprise was the recipe that came with the pan. (I used it for the test bake to see if the flavor was what they would like to try.) It was moist, firm yet pliable. With both sides put together with the buttercream frosting, it stood and looked like the picture. I used the icing recipe to make the "honey" that runs down the sides. Personally, I'm going to add just a bit of food coloring to make it more "honey" like. This pan did it's job.

So cute they were a gift!

Wow this is great! The non-stick coating allows easy transfer from the pan. Cleaning is also very easy. The recipe attached is accurate as you can see. I love it, and I am using this for a bee-themed party. It is perfect. The final result is to die for.

Nordic Ware? What is there to say? I have never bought a Nordic Ware pan that wasn't excellent. This beehive cake pan is for my daughter who loves to bake. I know she will love it.
