I am extremely impressed with my purchase of the Nutri Chef 5 Quart Non-Stick Stainless Steel Stock Pot. This stock pot is very well constructed. It has a good weight to it. It is made using a three ply method. The interior is made from food grade stainless steel. The center layer is made of heavy gauge aluminum. The outside layer is 18/0 magnetic stainless steel. The aluminum center core ensures even cooking. Not a lightweight in any sense. The handles are securely attached to the pan. They feel very comfortable in my hands. They claim to be cool touch handles, however they do get pretty hot. The non-stick interior is really quite beautiful. This non-stick interior is lead, PFDA, and cadmium free. It is also metal utensil safe. The glass lid is heavy and transparent. I love that there is a steam port. The edge of the lid is very smooth, no jagged edges. This stock pot is 7” high, with a diameter of 10 “. The perfect size for a family to have soup. This stock pot is oven safe up to 500 degrees. The pot and lid are both dishwasher safe. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. It was wrapped in a cloth cinch sack that protected it from getting scratched. The packing definitely was well thought out. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I do, however, think that it was a bit pricey. That’s the only reason that I didn’t give it five stars.
