really nice all-purpose knife. light weight and very comfortable in the hand. sharpness is perfect. packaging is very good, the knife is well protected and comes in a nice box that would be good for gift giving. thinking of replacing more knives now.

This knife just arrived, and it was packaged fabulously. This is going to be a Christmas gift for one of my friends who loves to cook and collects different knives. I love the packaging. It will be a great present for him and the blade looked really sharp can’t wait for him to try it out.

The new kitchen knife is delightful Its incredibly sharp and remarkably sturdy, improving the cooking experience significantly. The craftsmanship is also quite beautiful, making it an enjoyable addition to the kitchen. The purchase was initially hesitant, but it has certainly proven to be an excellent choice. 

This is a high quality Japanese knife. We own a more expensive one with a thinner and lighter blade and poly handle. I used both to test on slicing celery to tomatoes and this one outperformed our current one. We will never put it in the dishwasher to preserve the blade and protect the handle. Great buy!
