I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this handheld portable espresso shot coffee maker. Initially, I was skeptical about its capabilities. However, after trying it a few times, I am fully convinced. Not only does it heat the water in the chamber on top of the unit, but it also pulls a shot of espresso in a short amount of time, provided you have the grinds at the correct courseness and have set it up properly. On a full charge, if you use hot water poured into the unit from a kettle, you can make back-to-back espresso shots. I’ve made four in a row without any issues using that method. However, if you need to use the heating element to heat the water inside the unit, it does use the battery more quickly and takes longer. So, one shot of espresso could take up to 4 to 5 minutes. But that’s perfectly acceptable if you’re in a camping or portable scenario. Overall, I highly recommend this high-quality machine!
