I DID NOT WANT A SEPARATED (2 GRILL) HOT PLATE ON THIS SANDWICH MAKER..IT SQUASHES THE SANDWICH BEYOND FLAT AND MAKES A UGLY SANDWICH AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT AND IT REALLY DOESNT BROWN THE BREAD..VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT. I WANTED SMOOTH TOP GRILL IN IT NOT THE PERFORATIONS OR WHATEVER YOU CALL THEM..DONT LIKE PRODUCT. WANT TO RETURN IT
