I bought this about a month ago. I washed with warm soapy water. I wasn't ready to use it yet so put it on the shelf with it's lid on. I went to use it last week and it had a strong "plastic like" odor inside when I took the lid off. I soaked it this time in warm soapy water, dried it, put the lid back on and put it back on the shelf. Opened it up this morning and the odor was back. Is mine defective? Did I do something wrong?

Have purchased multiple times, and the last couple have developed leaks on the top where you would pour from.

Well, I use this at home to make lemonades and Kool-Aid. I also am a teacher and bring this into my classroom to let my students use in the science center. They work on so many things with this it’s so versatile
