This is a great summer pitcher. It's study, it's a perfect size, the spout is conclave so the liquids pour out nicely. The flip top is sealed well and when pushed up it locks in place. "I received this product as part of a My-Take research study."

I bought this about a month ago. I washed with warm soapy water. I wasn't ready to use it yet so put it on the shelf with it's lid on. I went to use it last week and it had a strong "plastic like" odor inside when I took the lid off. I soaked it this time in warm soapy water, dried it, put the lid back on and put it back on the shelf. Opened it up this morning and the odor was back. Is mine defective? Did I do something wrong?

Have purchased multiple times, and the last couple have developed leaks on the top where you would pour from.
