Overall it looks dark blue, but you can tell it’s two separate colors , which adds dimension and makes it look fancy. I really like the ridges on the bottoms of the bowls and plates. It’s very modern and interesting but still easy to wash. I was worried that these would be heavy, since they’re stoneware, but they are pretty light and the bottoms are not coarse. It’s a great set for every day use. The only con are the glasses. They feel cheap and are very small. The edges are very thin, but they don’t feel nice enough for wine or cocktails and they’re too small to be water glasses. The rest of the plates and bowls are great, just get the set without the cups.
