The bowls are even too small for cereal. They are the size of a cat dish Or a toddler’s snack bowl. The largest plate is about the size of a smaller retro Corelle plate. The dishes are also hand wash only. Impractical. They appear as dailyware, but boast the inconvenience of fine china that you would only use on a holiday or special occasion.

I think this is perfect for a modern/ sleek interior. I also like that the black is forgiving and you can plate things very nicely even if it doesn't look "perfect", the dinner wear always gives it a clean look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this set for our family and we have been using these dishes for 2 weeks I’ve been washing by hand or in the dishwasher with no sign of scratches or chips, they are holding up very well.They are really beautiful solid stoneware but delicate, they cannot go into a microwave. No problem for us because we don't use microwave but it's important for those who use them. Otherwise, they are very well made, slim design, heavy enough to hold up to serve hearty meals. The texture and pattern is elegant and unique! The gold is very metallic and the burgundy color makes a contrast with it. The mugs are big enough and I like the shape very much. They are such gorgeous dishes!
