Good quality porcelain. Weight of the plate is perfect. Size perfect. Stylish shape. Stack neatly in the dishwasher and cupboard.

I like the quality of this product and it is exactly what I expected. It seems it is made well and is exactly as described on the website.

These "White Tie" plates are not white. They are beige, cream, off-white, ecru … in other words, all variations of "not white." I contacted AllModern about my "not white" plates, and even e-mailed a photo, but AllModern refused to replace them and would only allow me to return them if I paid for return shipping. As you can imagine plates are heavy and I would have lost half my refund once the return shipping was deducted. I was truly surprised by TrueModern's actions as TrueModern has had excellent customer service in the past; maybe the person who was helping me with this issue was having a bad day, who knows, but I was certainly not treated like a valued customer. Other than the color, the shape of the plate is exactly what I wanted to go with dinner plates of that same shape … however, a white dinner plate with a not white salad plate looks kind of crappy.
