[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second set of meat probes I've owned and I'll tell you why they are my favorite. First off, the display is large and easy to read and has a backlight too. You get 4 color probes, making it easier to know which probe goes to which meat and the backlight is also color coordinated. The probes have a plastic cap to go on the pointy part for storage. That's very new to me and very useful. I can't count how many times I've reached into my drawer and been poked. There is a little stand to set the display on a flat surface with if you are not using the magnets to keep it where you want as well. It only needs 1 AAA battery to work and it comes in the box. It has presets that are very useful too. There are recommend internal temps printed on the side for quick reference but they are incorrect for beef. 145° is NOT med rare. Please don't ruin your beef! Besides that little error, I love them and everybody should own one.

I like the preprogrammed meat temperatures, making it easy to remember what the temperature needs to be. It has an alarm that goes off once the meat hits the temperature and is very accurate. Super simple. The screen can also be lit. Cons: braided line kinks if you’re not careful. I wish it came with something to easily store the product. The paper stickers that say “always remove probe with gloves” was easily removed after one use so for someone who has not used this before, don’t touch the base of the probe when it’s in use without gloves as it could burn. I wish there was a permanent warning stamp on it as I bring this with me to family bbqs to use. Overall, I would recommend this product.

The quality of this thermometer is great. I always have a hard time knowing when to take the meat out and it ends up too done . Well this time it was perfect thanks to my new meat thermometer. Will never cook meat in oven without it again .

One likes it still mooing and another wants it burnt. I like that I can put a probe in both cuts of meat and cook them like a pro. It also gives me peace of mind that the still mooing meat is cooked to a safe temperature. It is very simple to use.
