After installing the battery, it worked right out the box.. it allows you to lock in the temperature of the meat and has very thorough instructions. The accuracy is top-notch.. It’s easy to store. As well.. the only thing that I wish it had was a on and off button.. it just goes to sleep once it’s out of use. I’m not sure how much battery that actually drains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that I can see the temperature for each meat I want to make and that helps me a lot, the screen is large and the numbers look good, it has a fairly strong magnet and is resistant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third ThermoPro thermometer! They are absolutely the best! The accuracy is spot on. I love the magnetic back. I am able to place the thermometer on my fridge instead of jamming it into a nasty junk drawer. It's extremely easy to use. Just stab your product then hold it there. If you can't see the temp you can use the "lock" button to hold it. There is a chart on the back to help you remember the proper food temps. I like that the probe snaps into place. This makes it harder for my toddlers to grab it and break it.

I’ve used other thermometers for probing and temping food items but I’ve never owned one as sleek as this, especially for the price. It’s very portable, making it easy to warty with me when camping, and it’s waterproof! It only takes one AAA battery. Convenient and worth the price!

It has an auto rotating display, 3-D motion wake, and it is 100% water proof. It also has a lock function, calibration function, and a large luminous display. It is a food grade Stainless steel probe with a magnetic back and a kitchen hook. It also features a antimicrobial coding. I do recommend this product.
